Matcha is a Japanese shade-grown, stone-ground green tea powder packed with antioxidants (catechins) and L-theanine, promoting calm focus. It tastes, rich, vegetal, and slightly sweet/savory (umami). A cup typically contains 35–70 mg of caffeine, offering a jitter-free energy boost. It is prepared by whisking 2 tsp of matcha powder into hot water then adding optional sweeteners.
